Trauma Therapy, Superhero Therapy, and Therapy for Creatives

Superhero Psychology, Inc. is now officially open for clients and consultations for trauma therapy, superhero therapy (helping you to become your own version of a hero IRL), and therapy for creatives to magnify your creativity.

At Superhero Psychology, Inc. Dr. Scarlet specializes in evidence-based treatments for trauma, stress, anxiety, and PTSD. With over 11 years of experience, Dr. Scarlet provides her clients with a compassionate heart and focused dedication. Her clinical experience includes using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals with PTSD, anxiety, grief, and burnout, as well as using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD. Dr. Scarlet also has experience working with a variety of mindfulness and meditation techniques, as well as compassion and self-compassion. Dr. Scarlet currently offers telehealth sessions for adults with anxiety and PTSD, and is licensed to work with clients in California and Nevada. In addition, she is fluent in Russian and can conduct therapy with Russian-speaking clients.

  1. As a proud geek & nerd, as well as survivor complex trauma, now disabled & unable to work, I’ve been interested in Superhero Therapy for years. My sons joke ST is the perfect blend of my geek side & nerdy love of psychology & counseling. I turned to online classes as a way to cope, now as a grad student in counseling I love sharing & discussing ST, particularly related to trauma. If I can ever work again my focus is on trauma, disability with significant loss of self, and plan on more training in ST. I have all your books & most of Dr. Langley’s too, and the most recent, “It shouldn’t Be Like This” fits my life & goals perfectly. everything
