While I already preordered my copy, I entered the giveaway to bring a copy to a domestic violence shelter, if I win. As a DV survivor & my sons are CDV survivors, bringing this to a shelter is my small way of giving back to those in an all too familiar traumatic experience. Dr. Scarlet is helping many who need it. Her work reminds me of the days after 9/11 when kids kept asking why the superheroes didn’t save us & a comic came out to address it. I will probably get another copy to also bring the one mental health center this rural area has. Thank you for this work!
